I would want T2 bs to be something completely new, rather than improvements of current tech 1 bs.
The goal is to have some sort of specialization without creating a T2 bs that totally owns everything in combat. So, no super damage + super tank bs.
The cost of such bs should be about 220 mil to build.
Caldari tech 2 bs A special battleship that focuses on pure shield tanking and EW, combined with missile weaponry.
It would have about 7000 shield with 2000 second recharge. Add default 25% extra resist to all damage types. However, since it's a pure shield tank, it would have only 1000 base armor hp and no extra resistance on armor. It would have Gravimetric sensor strength of 50, making it very hard to jamm, it would also have base targeting range of 125 km. It should have relatively low grid but lots of CPU.
Tech 2 bs would have 3 bonuses. Lets say, 10% faster shield recharge per level. 10% extra jammer strength. 10% extra EW module optimal range.
Slot layout would be 7 high, 8 med, 5 low. Since it has no damage bonus, it should be allowed to use 7 launchers and 7 guns, but it would be limited by relatively low grid.
Drone bay: 4 heavies
Minmatar tech 2 bs It's role would be hit and run, but its weakness would be poor tankability.
It would have 50% less HP than a Tempest, but 20% extra resistance to all damage types on shield and armor.
It's bonuses would be: 20% extra Agility per level. 25% faster lock time. 5% extra damage
Slots: 8 high, 6 med, 6 low. It would have 8 guns, 4 missile launchers.
Drone bay: 4 heavies
Amarr tech 2 bs Ship that focuses on armor tanking and good damage, but with weaknesses against EW and low maneuverability.
It would have 8500 armor with 25% extra resistances to all damage types. But it would have only 900 shield with no extra resistance. It would have base speed of 80 and mass of 150,000,000 kg. It would have 30% less agility than normal bs. It would also have Radar strength of only 12
Bonuses: 5% extra damage, 5% extra rof, 5% less duration on armor repair mods
Slots: 8 high, 4 med, 8 low. It should have 8 guns, no missile launchers.
drone bay: none
Gallente tech 2 bs
Ship that is very good at short range combat, but not the best damage dealer or great tanker.
It would have 25% less hp than a Mega, but 20% extra resistance on both armor and shield. It would have base speed of 200 m/s and 20% better agility. It would have no penalty for equipping MWD, but it would have 10% less cap than a Mega.
Bonuses: 20% more optimal range for Webs, Scramblers, and Disruptors. 10% better tracking for large hybrids, 5% reduction in ship's signature radius
slots: 8 high, 5 med, 7 low. 8 guns, 2 missile launchers.
drones: 10 heavies
